1 > Cut 2 rectangles of fabric to fit your sunglasses

(The fabric used here is Riley Blake 'Girl Crazy Stripe')

.............................................................

2 > Optional - If you wish to Applique specs onto your case see below (If not skip to step 6)

Trace or freehand a pair of sunglasses onto bondaweb (here's the template that we used)

3 > Cut out your drawing with a small border and bond to the reverse of your chosen scrap fabric

4 > CUT out your applique shape to your original drawn line

5 > BOND your applique shape to the right side of one of your rectangles.

(Note the placement of the glasses off center to the right)

.............................................................

6 > STITCH your 2 rectangles right sides together up to the notch shown on our sewing pattern.

7 > PRESS seams open

8 > FOLD top edge down to create a channel with openings at the side seam

9 > SEW approx 1.5cm hem leaving room in the channel for your cord / ribbon

9 > THREAD your chosen cord through the channel to finish

(TOP TIP: Use a safety pin to draw the cord through easily)

Use beads or embellishments to add a little fun to your case.

Et Voila! Play around with different fabrics, this case could even be used to hold a phone or jewellery.

Happy Sewing
