SPRING IS SPRINGING !! Here's a round up of some of my favourite Spring sewing projects and patterns for some seasonal sewing fun.
Spring is packed with exciting events like the equinox the start of the growing season, Mothersday the perfect time to handmake a gift (even if it's for yourself), and Easter, whether religious or not I'm pretty sure you'll be egg hunting or at least scoffing treats.
See some of my favourite seasonal sewing projects below with PDF patterns (some FREE) and step by step tutorials to help you succeed.

1 - Felt Flowers
Here's a sweet Spring sewing project. Sew felt flowers and turn them into a brooch, greetings card or even a daisy chain garland.
2 - Drawstring wash bags
The most useful drawstring bag! You'll love this project as you can alter the size to suit any need and this project is REVERSIBLE (bonus!).
3 - Fabric book covers
Does the change in seasons get you you planning new projects or yearning to get organised? If so these fabric book covers are great for covering your newest notebook in your fav printed fabric and getting a new spring project started. My instructions will show you how to cover a book of any size so rest assured you can even cover old notebooks that need a revival.
4 - Farmers market tote
This tote bag comes in 2 sizes, and if you can find some sassy veggie fabric, the smallest size makes the perfect tote bag for carrying home your farmers market haul.
5 - Garden Party Bunting
Get ready for Spring/Summer when you can get back outside and decorate your space with fun bunting. This PDF pattern is great for all seasons and events but I particularly love creating something fresh and new with spring themes fabrics or cute easter themes.
6 - Handy Toolbelt / Apron
Baking sweet treats this season couldn't get any cuter than with a themed Apron. This sample was made with a Studio G fabric and check out my pattern matching on the pockets! This pattern also works great with a plain pattern or even a veggie themed fabric like the tote above for a gardening tool belt.
7 - Yoga Pattern Bundle
If you are a Yogi or wanna be looking to awaken your body this spring check out this Yoga pattern bundle with mat bag, pouf and bolster. Be the envy of the studio with a matching kit or just match your fabrics with your home decor so that you can keep your kit out all the time.
8 - Rainbow Pouf Sewing Panel
'Somewhere over the Rainbow' you can use this CUT & SEW sewing panel to create a fun and super useful floor pouf and even upskill your embroidery skills by trying the stitch pattern on the top.
9 - Dilly Flower Sun Hat
Daffodils, the first lovely blooms to raise their heads to the spring sunshine. Protect your little ones head with this spring inspired sun hat.
10 - Greystoke Sun Hat
Mega wide brimmed sun hat in all sizes from XXS-XXL. This project will have you a little addicted as the hat is reversible and once you get inspired you'll want to make more than one!
